Broadcasting from the beautiful Casa Vicens in Barcelona, IED Barcelona Design School celebrated the end of its year by virtually showcasing a range of works from its students. With 25 collections in total from the BA Fashion Design students, these new graduates presented why they will be faces to watch in the coming years.
As with previous editions, this year also saw the Fashioners of the World Awards Ceremony, where specific entrants are awarded for exceptional skill. Judging this year’s awards was a panel that included Mickey Boardman, Editorial Director of Paper Magazine; Lynn Yaeger, Fashion Editor of Vogue.com; Stefan Siegel, Founder of Not Just a Label; and Elisa Pervinca Bellini, Editor of Vogue Talents and of Sustainability in Vogue Italia.
The winners are as follows:
Franca Sozzani Best Collection Award — “Visit España” by Laura Chafer
Isabel Coixet Best Fashion Film Award — “Rituals” by Luciana Cabrera
Manuel Outumuro Best Shooting Award — “Pop Porn” by Giacomo di Paolo
This year showed great promise, and we are already excited to see what happens next for these designers and creators.
