This Schön! editorial explores the transgression and freedom of expression in contrast to a closed society. Delving into the power of body awareness and sexuality, which is often overshadowed in youth by overwhelming instincts, this story shows the period of awakening, like the blooming of flowers in spring, opening and closing ourselves like petals, fully embracing and opening our hearts. Speaking of that uneasy sensation in the pit of our stomachs, how does it make us feel? Do we find pleasure in feeling unsettled? And for you, what triggers butterflies in your stomach? The project takes inspiration from films like “Daisies” and “The Virgin Suicides” to depict girls of this era, adopting a girly aesthetic. The focus lies in capturing moments of novelty, hopeful emotions, and dreams.
