Balenciaga expressed his Catholic faith through creation; his work was a form of prayer. Today, devotion takes many forms for creatives: writing, meditating, walking through nature, or simply seeking silence. These quiet rituals are acts of connection and faith. This shoot explores the idea of altars, not just physical spaces, but emotional ones. Whether found in solitude or shared moments, altars become anchors for reflection. We incorporate nature and imagery of togetherness, suggesting that devotion often draws strength from others. A studio set inspired by the Greek Orthodox Church adds a layer of mysticism and sacredness.

The shoot, lensed by Maximilian Mouson with art direction by Veronika Chrysagi, was inspired by how creatives ground themselves spiritually in a fast-moving world. Through styling by Noah Kaechelin and hair and make up by Gabrielle Theurer, the team wanted to capture that inner search, combining sacred imagery with modern rituals of reflection and connection.
