After almost a decade, Red Bull Culture Clash is set to make its long-awaited return to London on 8th March 2025, this time at the iconic Drumsheds venue. Known for its high-energy battles that celebrate the diversity of UK music, the event promises to be a defining moment for fans of sound system culture.
The format remains true to its roots: four crews representing Electronic, UK Rap, Afro, and Caribbean music scenes will face off across four stages, armed with custom dubplates and joined by surprise special guests. This year’s lineup is led by Jyoty for Electronic, Teezee for Afrobeats, Spice for Dancehall, and Kenny Allstar for UK Rap. Inspired by the Jamaican tradition of sound clashes, the crews will compete to win over the crowd — a key element in determining the night’s champion.
First launched in London in 2010, Red Bull Culture Clash has played host to unforgettable moments, including performances by Boy Better Know, A$AP Mob, and Mixpak, and featured dubplates from artists like Drake and Damian Marley. The event’s blend of competition, exclusivity, and collaboration has cemented its reputation as a landmark occasion in the UK’s music calendar.
This year’s battle is split into four rounds, with strict rules to keep the competition fierce. Crews must avoid repeating tracks unless reworked as a dubplate, remix, or live performance, and the final round is reserved for these special versions.
