Invited to show on the official schedule of Milan Fashion Week and hosted in the prestigious Armani Teatro, London-based designer Xu Zhi displayed a collection inspired by The Visitors by Ragnar Kjartansson, and was supported by the Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana and Giorgio Armani. Toying with mixed media to translate the interlocked nature of emotions, Xu Zhi reinvented the studio signature. Reworking the braided yarn to reveal a beautifully intricate exploration of textile, form and function, Xu Zhi brought together emotions through a lyricism scarcely seen.
