What do we do when no one sees us? Do we allow ourselves to satisfy our darkest and most unspeakable desires? What if someone turns on the light and catches us? We all have a strictly private and intimate dark side, so there’s no shame in that.

The voyeur who is scandalized is the one who should be ashamed of invading someone else’s private area. Why is he scandalized? Doesn’t he satisfy his darkest desires? That should be the shame: not allowing himself to give free rein to his innermost self. The voyeur who does not judge and respect may be invited to look through that other’s peephole, and perhaps be invited to participate. Welcome.
