Photographer Mitch Payne and beauty editor Emma White Turle introduce a collection of men’s and women’s fragrances, joining forces to create a bouquet seasonal aromas.
First up, capturing the recurring motif of the Dolce & Gabbana collections, the Dolce Rosa Excelsa exults the pure tones of rose. Opening with sweet Neroli leaves and papaya flowers, the top notes are follow followed by the dry down of warm musky notes with the unique African Dog Rose and Turkish Rose. Combined, they create an enchanting pink elixir in a thick-frosted glass with a cap in the shape of a flower. McQueen, a first for the Alexander McQueen house, takes inspiration from three night blooming flowers. Sambac Jasmine, Tuberose and Yiang-Yiang combine perfectly to create a warm-bodied fragrance.
Yves Saint Laurent embraces contrast of light and dark fragrances with the original fragrance of Black Opium, using gourmand black coffee, white florals and vanilla. Transformed through the injection of jasmine tea, patchouli and white woods, Black Opium returns with a new pink glittering bottled rose glass edition. Heading to Italy, Gucci reaches back to the heritage of the house, with the silver bamboo design purse spay Bamboo by Gucci: a powerful, yet very feminine fragrance that is built of exotic florals of casablanca lily, orange blossom and delicate Yiang Yiang.
Celebrating masculinity, the seductive and aphrodisiac Boss The Scent by Hugo Boss unleashes seduction with notes of Ginger, Maninka fruit and leather accords. Sitting alongside Trafalgar by Truefitt & Hill, a light and captivating cologne, with distinguished notes of cedar and sandalwood, jasmine and spice musk, the gentleman of distinction will find satisfaction in this Schön! selection.
