review | reneé rapp live in london

Embarking on the penultimate night of her Snow Hard Feelings tour, Schön!’s 2024 rising star Reneé Rapp played to a sold out Roundhouse in London, setting the bar high for what promised to be an unforgettable show. The venue was buzzing with youthful energy as adoring fans waved more cardboard signs than phones in the air. The concert kicked off with the lively beats of Talk too Much and Poison Poison. The momentum was briefly interrupted during Colorado — the song that inspired Rapp’s fan base moniker the “young ex-wives” — when a fan fainted in the crowd, prompting a pause in the performance.

Adding a delightful twist to the evening, supporting artist Towa Bird graced the stage to contribute guest vocals on the fan favourite track Tummy Hurts. The on-stage chemistry between the two artists was palpable, creating an enchanting atmosphere as they embraced each other in a musical embrace. Later in the show, Rapp treated her audience to a soulful cover of Linger by The Cranberries, accompanied solely by the soothing sounds of the acoustic guitar.

A highlight of the night was her rendition of Not My Fault, a tour essential where Rapp’s band skillfully took on Megan Thee Stallion’s rapped verses. The infectious energy of the performance prompted the crowd to join in without hesitation, adding an interactive layer to the show. Closing the evening in true Snow Angel style, Rapp stood centre stage adorned with graphic angel wings. White confetti showered the brightly lit room, creating an ethereal atmosphere, before the ecstatic crowd erupted into cheers. Rapp’s tour was undoubtedly a spectacle, leaving her fans with memories to cherish.
