Designer Lucio Vanotti presented his SS18 collection in a grand palazzo in the centre of Milan with a very dominant influence of the 1940’s. Vanotti fused this with pieces of inspiration from the Middle Ages producing a collection comprised of A-line hems, wooden clogs made into wedge heels and abstract head pieces. The designer’s love for the abstract object also contributed to the tasteful construction of layered silhouettes complimented by his use of patterns.
