Saudade, a Portuguese word, has no translation but describes the feeling of missing someone or something. This Schön! editorial focuses on the strong connection Portugal has to the sea, in addition to the cultural growth and family roots embedded there. It’s a word used to show “our love to someone” or “something we miss.” Shot on one of the oldest beaches that still, to this day, keep the sea and the art of fishing as a central point of Portuguese culture.
