Whether through words, visuals, food, or flowers, four creative minds reveal how they shape Berlin’s cultural pulse. Among them, floral artist Lilo Klinkenberg transforms the ephemeral into the extraordinary. From international runways to immersive exhibitions, Klinkenberg’s sculptural works bridge the urban and the botanical. “Both fashion and florals are about creating something tactile and expressive that moves between body, space, and material,” she says, wearing CHANEL as she opens up to Schön! about her work and creating Studio Lilo.
During Berlin Art Week this September, the artist collaborated with the multidisciplinary design studio Bocci to create a ten-metre-long plinth of lily buds swirling towards a single open bloom, while wilted flowers seemed to drift away. “This particular installation traced the cycle of life through lilies, from bud to bloom to decay,” says Klinkenberg of the project meditating on purity, transformation and renewal.
