The American Beauty shoot in Schön! Magazine’s 19th issue is less a celebration of the film of the same title and more a Technicolor carnival in honor of extraordinary American model Ashley Smith. Photographed by Naomi Yang and styled by Jessica Bobince, the shoot features an abundance of luxurious brands and glistening fine jewellery styled to be as outrageous as the most lavish American beauty queens. This impression is compounded by the rich makeup and hairspray-heavy hair by Chris Colbeck and Benoit Moeyaert at Art Department.
