“In the gardens of Imagination we create ourselves and the surroundings which constantly change for our own amusement.
The gift lies in noticing.”
With Chapter Two, by Reval Denim Guild, a new collection marks the turning of a page for the storytelling denim brand that hails from the port town Tallinn. The collection presents a great spectrum of fabrics, perfect for a Northern climate – like the charcoal top, made of dyed 11,75 oz Japanese recycled denim or the indigo-golden heavy raw denim, lined with warm cardinal-red wool. In midst of the denim guild, a small millinery – Guild Hattery – manufactures unique made-to-measure hats according to the customer’s requirements and colour preferences.
Reval Denim Guild was founded in 2010 by artists Sten Karik and Joan Hint. Merging art with crafts, the very first denim guild in the world stands for traditional methods, remarkable products with a complex narrative behind them and represents a common vision of a group who gives the best, in everything they do. Just like in times gone by, all is done by hand, under the same roof, in the Guild’s hometown, Tallinn. And this isn’t something that will change any time soon.
