white milano 2026 | tabula rasa

Milan is calling again and we are absolutely here for it. This season, Schön! is returning to the Tortona Fashion District from 26 February to 1 March to cover White Milano, and everything already feels entirely different to our last visit. The organisers are calling the theme ‘Tabula Rasa,’ that is a totally blank page to rewrite the future of contemporary womenswear. After walking through the doors of Superstudio, there will be over 300 independent labels inside to discover. Since last February, the event has seen a massive influx of international buyers with a 10% increase in attendance.

“All the brands present contribute to populating the showcases of the best national and international retailers, bringing to the world a selection that coherently and insightfully interprets the contemporary fashion landscape,” says Simona Severini, General Director of White.

We always make a beeline for the new additions and the fresh White Accessories area in the Daylight zone does not disappoint. It is a brilliant space dedicated entirely to the finishing touches. Others like Morsica are bringing some seriously bold avant-garde footwear shapes, along with fantastic bag labels like Villa Niccolai and striking eyewear from Oscar Deen in the mix. Fessura is even launching a new Road Running line and throwing a massive party to celebrate their new flagship store on Corso di Porta Ticinese.

The Secret Rooms are consistently our favourite spots to uncover hidden gems. This time around, we are looking forward to getting up close with the ethereal textiles of London-based Susan Fang; the beautiful body-skimming jersey pieces from Paris-based Lucille Thievre, and the edgy aesthetics of Batakovic Belgrade. The global representation is phenomenal this year as well, featuring Indian craftsmanship from the likes of Ka-Sha, innovative functional urban-wear from Qatar-based Shirotsu, and stunning woven leather pieces from Ibeliv in the Loft areas.

The White Basement will also make a return. This intimate and experimental venue is perfect for research-driven projects and an underground vibe. It’ll host the international showroom Valdagency featuring brands like Annette Gortz, Anntian, Gudrun&Gudrun, Henrik Vibskov, Merryl Tielman and Saskia Diez.

And if you need to taking a breather from the rails, the White & White exhibition at the FLA Museum inside the venue is the place to visit. Legendary fashion editor and artist Flavio Lucchini is exploring every possible nuance of the colour white through sculptures and paintings, which feels perfectly aligned with the blank slate theme of the week.

The entire event is a brilliant mix of established names like Gattinoni and fresh independent talent. We are ready to scour the floors, chat with the designers and spot the trends that will be taking over your feeds next season.
