tommy hilfiger | the always denim campaign

Romeo Beckham seems to have inherited more than just a famous surname. Somewhere between football pitches, front rows and campaign sets, he’s become one of fashion’s most reliable denim wearers – and Tommy Hilfiger noticed that too.

For Autumn 2026, the American label hands Beckham the keys to one of New York’s most recognisable addresses, The Mark Hotel, for its latest ‘Always Denim’ campaign. Long favoured by Met Gala regulars, Hollywood stars and fashion editors, the Upper East Side institution swaps red carpets for rooftop evenings and impromptu gatherings, becoming the backdrop for Tommy Hilfiger’s latest love letter to jeans.

“There’s no right or wrong way to wear denim. That’s the whole point,” says Beckham. “One day I’ll wear it with a leather jacket, the next with a classic white T-shirt. You can take inspiration from rock, prep or vintage, any kind of style. Tommy’s iconic denim has been around for my entire life, but it always feels current because everyone makes it work in a way that feels natural to them.”

Joining Beckham is Dutch model and longtime fashion favourite Yasmin Wijnaldum, alongside a cast of emerging creatives shaping today’s style conversation. Together, they move between hotel suites, city streets and Manhattan rooftops in a wardrobe built around the one thing Tommy Hilfiger has championed since the brand’s earliest collections in the 1980s: denim.

That versatility sits at the heart of the collection. Beckham rotates between the relaxed, ‘90s-inspired Theo baggy jean worn with chunky cable knits and the straighter Dover fit paired with crisp shirting, while Wijnaldum showcases the women’s Sarah jean, cut with a flattering high rise, alongside the lower-slung Daisy silhouette with its looser proportions. Different washes, fits and finishes invite the sort of experimentation that has kept denim relevant through every decade of changing trends.

“Denim has always represented the pinnacle of self-expression to me,” Hilfiger explains. “When I was a teenager growing up in Elmira, I’d drive to New York City to buy jeans, customise them, and sell them out the trunk of my car. Through every decade it’s evolved with music, youth culture and changing attitudes, yet never lost that timeless appeal. This campaign celebrates that legacy through a new generation, showing how the classics continue to be reimagined in personal ways.”

Tommy Hilfiger still believes that true Americana doesn’t look back, but adapts. Every good look starts with a good pair of jeans, after all.
