the beat of barcelona | primavera sound x cupra 2026

Primavera Sound is perhaps one of the most diverse festivals in Europe. Attracting tens of thousands of music lovers from across the globe, its lineup spans from underground rappers like Fakemink and 2Hollis, Pop it-girls like Addison Rae and Olivia Rodrigo and legacy artists like The Cure and Gorillaz. The Barcelona-based festival faced cancellations after a rainstorm on its opening evening, meaning acts like Doja Cat were unable to perform, but the rest of the weekend was one to remember.

Both the Cupra Pulse and Cupra stage hosted some of the festival’s most highly anticipated acts like British pop princess Pinkpantheress and an entire DJ lineup curated by Sonny aka Skrillex. The atomosphere across both stages was electric, capturing the essence of what the makes Primavera Sound one of the world’s best festivals.

Outside of the festival grounds, Cupra kept fans engaged at Casa Cupra with a special performance by Schön! 44 digital cover star Nathy Peluso. The Argentine-Spanish star charmed the crowd with her pitch perfect vocals and infectious salsa moves. Her charismatic performance culminated on top of a Cupra Raval car where she serenaded the crowd.

Primavera Sound always attracts tastemakers, from top models and international pop stars to leading influencers and music insiders. Cupra provided an immersive space for festival goers to connect with their favourite artists and discover sounds from all corners of the globe. From Uganda to South Korea, there were a plethora of acts that made Primavera Sound an unmissable start to the summer.
