Italian luxury retailer Nugnes has joined forces with Chloé for an exclusive event in Bari, turning its boutique into a destination for styling, craftsmanship and conversation. Hosted at Nugnes’ flagship store in Puglia, the evening celebrated the French Maison’s latest collection, inviting guests to experience it in a way that went well beyond simply browsing the rails. For the occasion, Chloé window displays dressed the Nugnes boutique, partially taking over the space.
Founded almost a century ago as a men’s tailoring atelier in Trani, Nugnes has grown into one of Southern Italy’s leading luxury destinations. It combines an impressive roster of international fashion houses – including Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Valentino and The Row – with a distinctly Mediterranean approach to hospitality. Chloé, meanwhile, continues its evolution under Creative Director Chemena Kamali, whose romantic reinterpretation of the house’s heritage has reconnected the brand with longtime admirers while winning over an entirely new audience.

Guests were invited to discover the latest Chloé collection through personalised styling appointments, where professional stylists paired the Maison’s newest ready-to-wear and accessories with carefully selected pieces from other designers available at Nugnes. The sessions focused on how Chloé’s softly feminine aesthetic can slip naturally into an everyday wardrobe.
Kamali’s influence was visible throughout the edit. Since taking over the house, the German designer has revived many of the signatures that made Chloé synonymous with effortless Parisian femininity during the 1970s. Billowing silk blouses, fluid dresses, oversized leather outerwear and rich suede accessories have returned alongside revived icons like the Paddington bag and newer favourites including the Camera Bag and Bracelet Bag. Wooden wedges, ruffled chiffon, antique gold hardware and earthy colour palettes continue to shape a wardrobe that looks to the past without feeling trapped by it.

Apart from the new collection, guests could personalise Chloé-branded fans through a live calligraphy experience, with each piece hand-finished by artist Roberta Ranieri throughout the evening.
