We’ve followed Mackage’s journey for a while now, season after season, watching them slice through the noise with those sharp silhouettes and frankly obsessive approach to craftsmanship. But for 2025, the Canadian luxury house is doing something distinctly different. They’re looking inward and reminding us exactly who they are.
In celebration of its 25-year legacy, Mackage is digging into its archive to spotlight the pieces that first made us equate puffer with architectural with the new CORE 2025 Campaign. And to tell this foundational story, they’ve enlisted a cast that feels rather primal and powerful.
We have the impossibly elegant Matt Bomer and supermodel Stella Maxwell, looking every bit the modern icons. But it’s their co-stars that truly stand out. Photographed in a stark Los Angeles setting, the duo is joined by an owl, a falcon, an indigo snake and two intensely focused Dobermans. Mackage explains that the owl signifies wisdom, the falcon that signature precision, the Dobermann for dedication (to craft, no doubt), and the snake for protection. It all ladders up perfectly to their long-standing ethos ‘Aesthetics That Protect.’ It’s clever, it’s chic and it’s a whole lot more compelling than another minimalist studio shoot.
“Our CORE collection substantiates the styles that define us,” says CEO Tanya Golesic, and she’s not wrong. These are the foundations that built their reputation. The campaign zeroes in on the true Mackage legends: the ADALI, with that perfectly sculpted, face-framing collar and the DIXON down bomber, which remains the blueprint for balancing street-ready form with deep-winter function. “This is a tribute to Mackage’s enduring vision, designs that have defined style for more than 25 years and continue to resonate today,” says Maxwell.

But the CORE is also about evolution. They’re introducing newness that feels just as essential to the modern luxury wardrobe. We see this in the CALINA, a chevron-quilted maxi coat in a lustrous fabric that looks like liquid armour, cinched with a belt for a stunning A-line silhouette. While the GAEL remains a timeless, double-breasted leather trench that projects quiet confidence. For the men, the SKAI is an incredibly smart, tailored 3-in-1 wool coat with a removable bib for seamless versatility.
“In both fashion and acting, staying relevant means evolving while holding onto what defines you,” says Matt Bomer. “This campaign reflects Mackage’s ability to do exactly that.”
The CORE 2025 Campaign is available now globally, marking a new chapter in Mackage’s journey, celebrating its icons and reaffirming its heritage in luxury performance.
