Mackage is shaking off its reputation as a brand only for the deep freeze with a new Spring/Summer 2026 collection titled ‘Oasis.’ This transition marks their arrival as a full lifestyle label, trading their iconic Montreal heavy parkas for lightweight layers that feel much more at home in a sun-bleached desert.
“Oasis represents Mackage’s evolution,” says Tanya Golesic, CEO of Mackage. “It blends technical precision with purposeful design to create modern luxury that protects, performs and adapts – no matter the season.”
Brand ambassadors Matt Bomer and Stella Maxwell return once again, taking the lead in a campaign shot around Los Angeles, playing the part of two travellers searching for a moment of calm in a beautiful but unforgiving landscape. “Returning to Mackage always feels effortless,” says Maxwell.
Bomer also appears remarkably serene, perhaps a welcome change of pace before his high-stakes role in the film ‘Outcome’ hits Apple TV+ on 10 April. That project sees him starring alongside Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz, but for now, his focus is firmly on the precision of a well-cut suede jacket. “The pieces themselves are engineered with such precision and intention, you feel protected, grounded and elevated all at once,” Bomer says.
The palette for the season draws directly from the natural world, moving through tones of sand and warm umber before hitting a bright note with vibrant papaya. Tactility is at the heart of the garments, with goat-lamb suede making an appearance in silhouettes like the Gael and Danny jackets. Small, thoughtful touches like laser-cut snake-print leather and palm motifs pay homage to the desert environment without feeling like a costume.
Maxwell returns to show off the brand’s expanded rainwear, which uses materials like Soft Crinkle and Ripstop to keep the elements at bay. Every piece is built to move with the wearer, from double-face wool coats in herringbone patterns to brushed cotton trousers with a cashmere-like finish.
SVP of Design, Ludwig Heissmeyer, and his team have prioritised a sense of protection that works just as well for a cool morning as it does for a scorching afternoon. As he explains, “Oasis is a wardrobe created for the rhythm of modern life.” By mixing technical fabrics like PrimaLoft with more traditional tailoring, the collection offers a sense of security that does not feel heavy or restrictive.
