Mackage is steering luxury into rugged new territory. For Autumn/Winter 2026, the Montreal-born label heads into the English countryside for a collection inspired by the figure of the Voyageur, translating a life of changing climates, long distances and unpredictable weather into a wardrobe that manages to look as good in the city as it does somewhere considerably less forgiving.
Conceived under the leadership of CEO Tanya Golesic, the AW26 range is engineered to fluidly traverse changing climates and international time zones. The seasonal palette follows the landscape closely, with rich truffle browns and carbon tones sitting alongside deep evergreen and icy marine blue. Meanwhile, the textures introduce another layer of weather-inspired detail, featuring merino wool, suede, pebble leather and brushed shearling across the collection, with eco-conscious blends joining the more traditional materials.

Outerwear remains the obvious starting point, though the collection has broadened considerably beyond the classic winter coat. Thermal-regulating, water-resistant, windproof and breathable constructions are paired with structured tailoring, giving the season a more polished profile even when the weather outside is behaving badly. Reversible designs also play an important role, appearing across wool, knit, down and shearling – giving several pieces an entirely different personality with a simple change of side.
The collection’s versatility is marked by a few standout pieces that masterfully blend functional outer-layer protection with clean, contemporary tailoring. For women, the structural Diva in black offers a sharp, commanding silhouette that holds its form against the elements. It sits alongside tactile cold-weather investments like the draped Ali in light camel, the high-contrast Eileen in black/toffee and the plush Valencia in truffle/brown. The wider womenswear offering continues through rich suede, shearling and down, allowing the season to move between softer, more luxurious textures and the more practical side of Mackage’s outerwear vocabulary.

Menswear takes a similarly polished approach to cold-weather dressing.The Moses in coffee is a particular favourite, showcasing the brand’s uncompromising focus on rich texture and premium craftsmanship.This heavy-duty refinement extends through the utilitarian Cole-Bht in coffee, the deep-toned Otto-Pb in evergreen and the ruggedly tailored Jonathan in coffee/natural, establishing a complete winter uniform built for constant movement across environments. Elsewhere, the collection introduces a broad mix of leather, suede, wool and technical fabrics, with the proportions kept clean enough to work beyond the countryside that inspired them.
