last look

Our Paris Fashion Week journey has finally ended with a last, final look at Valentino. But this season, we’re lingering a little longer at the stage door. Schön! teamed up with Basel-based fashion photographer Luisa Pra Levis for a candid editorial that lives in the frantic, beautiful exhale after the curtains close.

Shot on location immediately following the Rick Owens, Loewe and Hermès presentations, Pro Levis’ lens catches that surreal middle ground where the high-fashion fantasy starts to peel away.

There is a strange magic in the post-show state, the last look she captures with her camera. The models have shed the runway looks, but they’re still sporting the architectural hair and avant-garde make-up of the designer’s vision. For Pra Levis, this creates a short bridge between the constructed glamour of the catwalk and the rawness of the streets.

“On the runway, the model often becomes part of the staging – almost anonymous, with the clothes taking centre stage. Outside the show, in these quieter moments, they return to being themselves again,” she says. This series is an intimate look at that subtle shift, capturing the person beneath the spectacle before the real world fully rushes back in.
