Kate Moss and British footwear brand Hunter are reuniting for a global campaign marking the brand’s 170th anniversary. Titled Iconic by Nature, the Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign celebrates the longstanding relationship between Moss and the Wellington boot that became synonymous with her festival style. Moss’s connection with Hunter dates back more than two decades, most notably to Glastonbury in 2005, when she wore black Hunter Wellington boots with short shorts and a waistcoat. The look helped establish the practical rain boot as a fixture of festival fashion.

“I’ve been a loyal fan of Hunter for years, ever since the festival where I wore them with way too short shorts and a waistcoat,” Moss said. Recalling the muddy conditions at Glastonbury, she said she turned to her trusted black Hunter wellies: “They were black and were tighter to the leg and they were waterproof. Bingo!”

For the new campaign, Moss wears reimagined versions of Hunter’s iconic Wellington boots, photographed by Mikael Jansson. The imagery draws on the British landscape and countryside culture that have shaped the brand since its founding in 1856, pairing Hunter’s utilitarian heritage with Moss’s distinctive style. “Hunter has never had to choose between its heritage and cultural relevance,” said Stefani Fleurant, executive vice president of marketing, sport and lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, which owns Hunter. “Bringing her into our 170th anniversary is both a celebration of that history and a statement about where Hunter is going next.”

The anniversary also extends to Hunter’s AW26 collection, which combines heritage styles with contemporary designs and technical innovation. In Europe, highlights include a 170th Anniversary Original Tall Wellington in Hunter Green, while the U.S. and Canada collection features styles including the Original Tall Wellington in Black Croco, Giania Waterproof Suede Tall Boot and Maribel Puffy Snow Bootie.

With Iconic by Nature, Hunter looks back at a defining chapter in its history while using Moss’s enduring connection to the brand to introduce its next one.
