The Givenchy set has turned into a lively creative playground for the Spring/Summer 2026 ‘Portrait Series III’ campaign. Sarah Burton invites a powerhouse cast to explore what she calls “powerful femininity.” While you might expect the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz to be behind the camera, she actually joins the line-up in front of the lens.
Captured by Collier Schorr, the images focus on the enjoyment shared by the women on set, keeping us guessing who is the model and who is the creator. This collective atmosphere reflects the energy of Burton’s second runway collection, which stripped back the stiff interiors of traditional tailoring to reveal something far more personal.
The collection itself plays with the idea of dress and undress, mixing structured silhouettes with a sense of lightness. Sharp pinstripe suits and black mohair jackets have been deconstructed and softened, appearing alongside delicate Lyon lace dresses and sheer mesh bodysuits. A standout piece is the lipstick red satin Cocoon coat, which commands attention with its vibrant hue and structured silhouette. Burton’s signature touch is everywhere, from the fresh Snatch bag that cinches under the arm to the dramatic shredded chiffon skirts that mimic the look of feathers. Other notable items include the Pinch Me pouch in soft nappa leather and the heart-shaped moto jacket with its oversized collar.

Alongside Leibovitz, the campaign features Kaia Gerber, Liu Wen, Selena Forrest and artist Isabelle Albuquerque, all wearing pieces that range from rebellious leather biker jackets to gowns that drape loosely around the body. Every detail, down to the swinging fringe on the mules and the chunky sculptural jewellery, celebrates a wardrobe designed for women to move through the world with total autonomy.
