Furla decided that the best way to debut its latest handbag was to treat the entirety of Milan Fashion Week like an overly dramatic Hollywood movie premiere. Staged inside the prestigious Il Foyer Alla Scala, the event, titled ‘Furla Cinemania’, saw the brand lean into self-aware theatricality following their latest campaign, ‘Iconic Drama’.
Guests arriving at the venue were immediately swarmed by a staged wall of paparazzi flashing cameras on a red velvet carpet, before being ushered along a bespoke Walk of Stars and past oversized movie posters. Mariacarla Boscono joined the guest list, adding some actual model-off-duty star power to an evening already committed to the Hollywood treatment. The wider Furla community was also given its own version of the red-carpet experience, with a Glam Cam recording guests in personalised cinematic videos to take home.

The actual star of the evening was the Furla Lynette bag, unveiled as a Milan Fashion Week exclusive ahead of the brand’s upcoming centenary in 2027. Reimagined from the house archives, the Lynette plays with slouchy volumes and urban utility, defined by a relaxed hobo silhouette punctuated by two statement maxi zip pockets across the front and layered leather details. For its fashion week debut, the style appeared in an exclusive textured suede, finished with adjustable bottom straps that allow the shape to be cinched or expanded. Each bag functions as a collector’s piece, individually numbered with an internal ‘Furla Archivio’ metal plate and a leather tag stamped with ‘Milan Fashion Week Furla Archivio’ on the reverse.
Cinema-themed charms were also designed to clip directly onto the hardware, shrinking the silver screen down to pocket size. The playful additions included miniature popcorn buckets, silver 3D glasses, soda cups and clapperboards that guests pinned across the collection’s small-sized bags. The suede lineup moved through a rich, varied palette of cioccolato, cognac, winter bloom, senape yellow and cobalto blue.
