What happened to being excited about the future?

That’s the uncomfortable question Db throws into the ring this summer. And fair enough, between spiralling rent, climate anxiety and the general noise of it all, “growing up” doesn’t exactly feel like the adventure it was pitched to be. It feels like survival, and a chaotic one at that.

But instead of offering some glossy escape fantasy, the Scandinavian brand leans into something more physical: actual movement. “As a brand, we believe in the power of getting out into the world because of how it shapes us, how it transforms us,” says Jonathan Weaver, CMO at Db. “We hope this reminds people that the world is still full of possibility, and that curiosity can be a catalyst for change.”

It’s a bold message, but they back it up with products built for the job. The new Ramverk Pro collection is made for the people actually out there doing it. Whether that’s creatives lugging fragile camera gear or someone booking a one-way out of their comfort zone, these cases are engineered with obsessive precision. Awards from Red Dot and Doga confirm it — this isn’t just good-looking kit, it’s seriously considered design.

There are two carry-on options: one with a front-opening design ideal for gear-heavy travellers, and a more classic split-case version. Both are cabin-friendly. The range also includes two check-in sizes — medium (67L) and large (87L) — with lightweight shells, smooth-rolling 360° Hinomoto wheels, and a durable telescopic handle designed in-house by Db. The front-access model also clicks neatly into Db’s modular backpack system and features camera inserts, making it a practical choice for on-the-go creators.

Creative Director Vincent Laine sees it as a response to how people are navigating the world today. “Our generation is going out in the world, making hard choices and taking risks to pursue what we believe in. In those defining moments we need to be able to trust our gear and feel confident. This is what we have translated into form and function. The Ramverk Pro luggage collection,” says Laine.

In a time when standing still can feel paralysing, Db is putting forward a simple idea: that movement, however small, still matters.
