Summer wardrobes often promise effortless dressing – the challenge is making it look convincing enough. For its latest seasonal offering, COS returns to a formula it knows well: refined essentials, understated luxury and clothes designed to travel flawlessly. The brand’s new Summer 2026 collection takes its cues from the Riviera, filtering Mediterranean ease through the clean lines and quiet sophistication that have become synonymous with the London label.

The collection is built around a sober colour palette, where shades of pearlescent white, cream and soft neutrals create a sense of calm. Elsewhere, dusty pinks, muted blues, terracotta and khaki introduce subtle colour without disrupting the overall simplicity. Texture does much of the work, with broderie anglaise, delicate pleating, bouclé fringe and scalloped finishes adding depth to otherwise minimal silhouettes.

The accompanying campaign, photographed by Mark Kean along the Athenian Riviera, stars models Mica Argañaraz, Luíza Perote, Leonard Kipker and Gaye Serigne against a backdrop of sun-bleached coastlines and warm evening light.

For womenswear, matching sets continue to dominate: relaxed co-ords in satin, linen and lightweight knits offer an easy approach to destination dressing, while dresses are elevated through sheer panels and tactile detailing. Fluid silk trousers and breezy linen separates reinforce the collection’s focus on movement and comfort without sacrificing elegance.

Menswear follows a similar philosophy, featuring unstructured tailoring that softens traditional summer dressing across shirts, trousers and coordinated sets. Meanwhile, workwear-inspired details and lightweight knitwear bring practicality into the mix, bringing versatility to the wardrobe.

One of the strongest categories this season arrives by the water. COS continues to expand its swimwear offering with a series of graphic black-and-white styles that echo the collection’s minimalist mood. Contrast-trimmed swimsuits, triangle bikinis, scoop-neck separates and sculptural scuba-inspired pieces create a sleek, almost architectural approach to swim dressing. Many styles are crafted using recycled nylon and ECONYL®, the regenerated fibre made from recovered waste materials, reflecting the brand’s ongoing commitment to more considered materials.

Accessories complete the picture. Woven leather sandals, tactile bags, nostalgic sunglasses and lightweight scarves are designed to complement the collection’s easygoing attitude without overwhelming it. Particularly notable is a richly textured woven bag that captures the artisanal spirit running throughout the season.

This summer, COS is focusing on the kind of wardrobe that works just as easily in Athens as it would in London, Saint-Tropez or Copenhagen – and we are here for it.
