casablanca x ladurée | the new limited-edition summer capsule

Charaf Tajer’s childhood memories of Paris are taking over the city’s most institutional pastry counters this summer. The Parisian pâtisserie house Ladurée has partnered with Casablanca for a limited-edition collection spanning macarons, pastries, ready-to-wear and accessories. Both brands share a deep appreciation for colour, craftsmanship and the art of turning everyday rituals into something worth celebrating, so the dreamy results are not a surprise here.

“As someone who grew up in Paris, has always felt like a true institution to me,” says Casablanca founder and creative director Tajer. “As kids, it almost felt untouchable. There’s a natural synergy between our two worlds: a shared attention to detail, a classic yet colourful palette, and above all, an appreciation for beauty and joy. It’s a real honour to collaborate with them.”

The collection revolves around an artwork created exclusively for the collaboration, depicting a dreamlike château nestled within a lush French garden, complete with tennis courts, palm trees and a pastel sunset sky. The illustration appears throughout the project, from Ladurée’s packaging to silk shirts, scarves and accessories, creating a visual thread that ties fashion and food together.

For Ladurée, the collaboration introduces a new seasonal flavour built around pomelo and mint. Developed by executive pastry chef Julien Alvarez following discussions with Tajer, the pairing balances citrus brightness, gentle bitterness and fresh herbal notes. The flavour appears across a limited-edition macaron, Eugénie pastry, dessert and sorbet collection.

“Following a trip to Japan, Charaf shared his inspiration for the pairing of pomelo and mint,” Alvarez explains. “We then approached it as a subtle balance between freshness, bitterness and sweetness, creating a bright and distinctive signature perfectly suited to summer.”

The fashion offering extends Casablanca’s signature holiday-infused aesthetic through a range of pieces featuring the collaboration artwork. Highlights include a silk satin shirt adorned with the château illustration, a silk scarf, crochet tote bag, embroidered hoodie and matching shorts, alongside graphic T-shirts, knitwear and a baseball cap. Familiar Casablanca motifs, including fruit imagery and the house’s laurel emblem, are seen throughout the collection.

Shot within Ladurée’s salons, the campaign captures an exuberant tea party atmosphere, while a short film sees Tajer stepping into the role of pastry chef alongside cake artist Sophia Stolz and Ladurée’s Julien Alvarez. Fashion figure Farida Khelfa joins models Asako Sato and Noah Hanes in the campaign.

The Ladurée x Casablanca collection is now available through 1 September 2026. Pastry products will be available in Ladurée boutiques worldwide, while the fashion collection is available through Casablanca stores and selected global retailers. Discover more here.
