There is nothing cleaner than a well-tailored jacket to impress everywhere you go, and in Milan, Boglioli is defining the contemporary tailoring codes of the capital. For Autumn/Winter 2026, the Milanese wardrobe gets back to business, building its lustrous city uniform around soft tailoring, beautiful fabrics and a colour palette that knows exactly when to hold back – and when to surprise you.

Founded in Brescia in 1973, the family-run brand has built its reputation around relaxed tailoring, refined fabrics and an approach to menswear that gives traditional Italian elegance a more contemporary, lived-in character.

For Boglioli, the jacket remains the structural foundation of the wardrobe, while fine-gauge knitwear, layered separates and coats in natural fabrics bring enough softness to keep things from feeling too corporate. Navy and camel define the season, joined by beige, taupe and sophisticated neutrals. Even brighter shades are given a Milanese filter: pink becomes mauve, yellow turns saffron.

The collection’s first palette, ‘Back to Milano’, is built around blue – the colour most closely associated with business dressing. Medium beige warms it up, while sage and ivory provide fresher accents. The shift is executed through refined, lightweight stretch wools and sharp suits blended with silk, which elevate the standard work uniform with a subtle, luminous sheen.

Meanwhile, ‘Lunch in Galleria’ turns to grey, offering a cooler alternative to traditional business blues. Darker shades lend themselves to coats and outerwear, while lighter greys bring a softer elegance to tailoring. Chambray recalls the classic Milanese shirt, with pale saffron appearing sparingly across knitwear. This corporate-cool palette relies heavily on super-light flannels, textured hopsack fabrics and classic houndstooth patterns to bring depth to the office uniform.

Then comes ‘Autumn in Brera’, where the mood becomes decidedly richer. Boglioli green takes centre stage across blazers, suits and coats, appearing in both solid and patterned designs. Red Leaf adds a flash of intensity, particularly when worked into silk, shirting and knitwear, while camel and leather tones bring the palette firmly into autumn. Here, the tactile experience dominates through the introduction of intricate herringbone wools and deep, heritage-inspired chevron patterns built for the cooler months.

Finally, ‘Bagai Club’ imagines the Milanese wardrobe after dark. Cocoa dominates jackets and suits, mauve adds an unexpected note and cashmere and taupe deepen the selection with their plush textures. The effect is sophisticated without relying on any obvious logos, conveying a lounge-ready attitude that plays with soft cashmere-blended checks, sophisticated bird’s eye weaves and garment-dyed textures. Chunky, wide-wale corduroy jackets are also brought into the mix, adding a satisfyingly tactile and relaxed option to nighttime dressing.

Across all four palettes, the idea that resonates is to start dressing with intention. Boglioli’s latest offering clarifies the code of understated Milanese luxury, demonstrating that true sartorial authority belongs to the quality of the fabric and the confidence of the wearer.
