Saturday night in Berlin often means standing in a freezing queue, but Armani Beauty had a far warmer plan at the Kino International. To celebrate the 76th Berlinale Film Festival, this 1960s landmark on Karl-Marx-Allee felt properly alive, filled with golden light and a hundred guests for a Valentine’s dinner. The building is famous for its massive glass facade and a hand-painted film poster that still greets passers-by, providing a vivid contrast to the modern energy inside.
The glass-fronted lounge offered views across the city while everyone settled into the mid-century surroundings. This legendary space, often called the Panorama Bar, is a time capsule of mirrors and wood panelling that seems to glow under the cinema’s famous chandeliers. The atmosphere changed gear as the guest list jumped to four hundred for a cocktail party later on. Music filled the halls and the party spilled across the different levels of the protected building.
German film stars Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee joined a crowd of actors and culture makers, including Iris Berben and Emilia Schüle, for the dinner. Florence Kasumba and Jannik Schümann were seen moving through the crowd as the night hit its stride. Other familiar Schön! faces were present, including our 45 digital cover stars, the Elevator Boys, who brought their signature energy to the party.
Behind the scenes, Make-Up Artist Philipp Verheyen and Face Designer Gökhan Hamamcioglu worked on the looks, choosing products that highlight character without hiding it. They used the Luminous Silk Foundation to create a skin finish that stayed bright even under the intense party lights. This foundation is a kit essential because it uses Micro-fil technology to drape the skin in a thin layer of light, providing hydration that lasts through a long Berlin winter night. Eye Tints gave a flash of colour to the lids, acting as a liquid-to-solid film that stays put without creasing. The Vertigo Lift Mascara kept everything looking wide awake for the cameras, using a precision brush to separate and lift lashes without any clumps. The brand also showcased the Prisma Glass lip gloss, which adds a high-shine finish that feels like a mirror for the lips.
Armani Beauty continues to be a staple of the Berlinale because they understand that red-carpet glamour should always feel effortlessly authentic.
