ace & tate aw26 | creative visionaries

What’s the difference between being able to see and actually having a point of view? For Autumn/Winter 2026, Ace & Tate is bringing the two together, placing a group of creative figures at the centre of a new campaign built around the people shaping culture from their own corners of Europe.

Under the slogan “Our Glasses. Your Perspective,” the Amsterdam-based brand unites artists, designers, writers, musicians and other creative voices with established connections to their own communities. British-Jamaican fashion designer Bianca Saunders joins Spanish food activist and entrepreneur Clara Diez, Dutch artist and graphic designer Eike König, Moroccan-Dutch rapper, musician Yousef Gnaoui, alongside musician and actor Pepijn Lanen and artist Carmen Riestra. Merging distinct disciplines and locations across a single eyewear range offers an authentic foundation for products built to sit directly in front of the eyes.

It also continues Ace & Tate’s increasingly playful approach to campaigns. Recent seasons have moved between a reality television-inspired family drama, complete with the familiar dynamics of siblings, parents and domestic chaos, and more offbeat explorations of the niche interests and everyday rituals that shape personal style.

Photographed by Ilya Lipkin, the AW26 campaign introduces a collection that looks backwards without getting stuck there. The references move between elongated 1990s proportions, the oversized glamour of the 1970s and the enduring appeal of a good aviator.

Nostalgic, earthy colourations populate the primary palette, offset by occasional bright tones to introduce unexpected warmth to a winter wardrobe. Individual models carry a clever sense of style, including the Hiro, an effortlessly cool wire frame in bronze steel built with a rounded rim that directly references late-nineties minimalism. The Ginny presents an elegant alternative, matching large, rounded lenses with thin metal temples in distinct finishes like Oyster and Tap Dance.

Geometric lines define the Remi, a lightweight, angular optical frame constructed to offer a smart look for daily business meetings and long desk sessions. Classic aviation designs find a counterpart in the Balthazar, which updates the traditional profile with a satin gold or satin silver finish and a slightly curved top bar that adds structural dimension. The wider collection rolls out an extensive palette of custom acetates, introducing frames like the Elena in Bonsai green, the Jonathan in a rich Concerto pattern and the Carol finished in striped Tigerwood. Alternative daily configurations appear via the boxy Ronnie in black, the Salome in translucent Oyster and the multi-toned Marco frame executed in deep Ristretto or warm Rooibos brown.

With this campaign, Ace & Tate is celebrating the people who already have their own perspective on the world – and giving them something suitably good to look through.
