Performing variations of some of the most known ballets such as Sleeping beauty and Don Quixote on stage, Schön! meets with Chinese ballerina and winner of best performance at the Royal Dance Competition Grand Prix 2016 in Italy, Yuying Han. Similarly to most dancers, Han began her professional career at the very early age of 11 and aims to reach her highest international recognition and abilities, before sharing her talent with others. “After this, I want to be a teacher just like mine. I want to teach, impact and train professional dancers.” With inspirations from her ballet teacher Vanush Babayan and idol Svetlana Zakharova, Han shares with us what she believes are the most important characteristics of a professional dancer: “Dancers should have an artistic soul, great application and gracefulness.”

This video and photography is produced by photographer Vincent Urbani with executive collaboration from Chiara Fallavollita. This performance is choreographed by Yuying Han’s teacher, Vanush Babayan during the Royals Dance Competition of this year in Italy, with music from Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades.
