Amsterdam’s Universality | Geography multiplied with Scotch & Soda

For their Autumn/Winter 2017 campaign, Scotch & Soda are exploring their ubiquitous nature through a worldly medium. The creative operation, shot by Elisabeth Toll and styled by Director Marlou van Engelen, extends its reach into unexplored lands and the general and unifying message of ‘We’re all Amsterdammers’ in a world full of ‘Amsterdams’.

A resonating voice, resembling that which can be found at the beginning of most 18th century novels and coupled with a lyrical energy known to many readers of exploratory poetry, opens the brand’s AW17 campaign video, filmed by Fleur Fortune. Four different locations, the glacial, the peaceful, the bio-diverse, and the modernised, and yet one distinctive couture – that of Amsterdam – that of Scotch & Soda. Breaking down boundaries between nations and continents, the campaign speaks for everyone, everywhere, and at all times.
