Once again under the revolutionary vision of Ferdinando Verderi, adidas Originals x Alexander Wang prepare to launch the third drop of the landmark collaboration’s second season this Saturday, November 4th. Disruption, defiance and deconstruction being inherent to the pairing, this installment is made up of 29 unisex pieces — including apparel and footwear — elevating the athleisure trend to never before seen standards in fashion.

Building on from the imagery created from the first drop earlier this summer, the campaign is shot once again by legendary German photographer Juergen Teller in a fittingly gritty underground industrial setting that mirrors the collection’s intricate and odd pairing of rave culture and cycling. Disrupting fashion’s status quo is a common thread in both Teller’s work and the AOxAW ventures, so it comes as no surprise that his distinctive and inimitable photographic bright-flash style paired superbly with the newly introduced satin pieces.

In this campaign— accompanied by a film by Ryan Staake —, we finally get to meet the masked bike messenger hideouts and follow the rebellious tribe — formed by Stella Lucia, Selena Forrest, Sora Choi, Otis Giovanni and Callum Mullin — as they make their way into a hedonistic warehouse rave.

The pieces from Drop 3 take over the Winter sporty aesthetic, featuring snap-away track pants, jogger, puffer coats, and even a robe in the recognisable solar yellow, dark green, classic black, and, of course, luxurious satin. Featuring the infamous upside-down trefoil logo as well as new industrial graphics and set to sold-out almost instantly, the collection will be available from this Saturday at over 140 global retailers, select adidas and Alexander Wang flagship locations, and, of course, online.
