Growing up in a family of artists and engineers, it’s no surprise that short film creator Arev Manoukin has an inclination for eye-popping graphics and creating something out of nothing. His emotion-striking work, from the huge success Nuit Blanche to the sexually-charged Skrillex Devil’s Den video, has set the stage for continued success, as he draws inspiration from encounters or even movies he’s seen to immerse his audience. However, Manoukian knows that each step of the film creation process, from the script writing and pre-production to finding characters, is equally important. Although he couldn’t divulge what his next film collaboration with a production company in Hollywood would encompass, it seems another entertaining and unique video-watching experience is on the horizon.
